Amazon Appstore has discontinued the Creator Service and the web-based app submission process. If you used both services to create apps for Fire TV and tablets, you can update your apps to a new version in Amazon Developer Console. Is there an alternative tool provided by Amazon for no code app creation? Currently, Amazon don't have another tool for creating no code apps. If you're interested in building FOS Android apps, please see Build Web-Based Apps for Amazon Fire OS.

How can I access my Creator apps going forward?
The Creator Service is no longer available, but your live apps are accessible through Amazon Developer Console. To access your apps, log in to Amazon Developer Console using your developer credentials. In the console, go to App List.

If the Creator Service was discontinued, what happens to my "live" apps?
Your "live" apps work as expected on all supported devices. Your existing customers can continue to use your "live" apps. To access your "live" apps, log in to Amazon Developer Console. In the console, go to App List.

What happens to my apps, which are in “Not Submitted” status?
Apps that are in “Not Submitted” status before the Creator Service was discontinued are unavailable in Amazon Developer Console. You need to start fresh, and submit as a new Android app to Amazon Appstore. For details, see Submit your app to the Amazon Appstore.

How can I update or make changes to my "live" apps?
If you wish to update your "live" apps to a new version, you can refer to the guidance in Update Your Web-Based Apps in Amazon Developer Console.

Are there any changes to my Creator Developer Portal account?
No, there are no changes to your account details. You can use the same credentials to access your apps in Amazon Developer Console.

What should I do if my "live" apps stop working or has errors?
Your apps have an Android package (
apk
) file associated with them, and any app issue could be unique to theapk
. To identify any app issue, you can use our testing services, such as the Live App Testing and App Tester. -
How can I remove my "live" app from Amazon Appstore?
To remove your "live app from Amazon Appstore, log in to Amazon Developer Console. From the App status tab, mark the checkbox next to “Remove from Appstore” option or delete your app. If you don't see the “Remove from Appstore” option, please contact us.
